Message from the Rose
Building a Strong Foundation
I (Autumn) was speaking to the rose bush about how well she is doing this year and how happy I am that she isn’t struggling like last year. And she said, I wasn’t struggling; I was building my foundations, my root system so that they could support all the beauty I have to share with the world.
She shared that we, you and I, must do our root chakra work now a little differently; as we are evolving our chakra system is evolving and the markers of healthy chakras are evolving. For us to hold the energies, intentions and actions that will change the world, we must make sure our foundation, our root is strong. Our root system will continue to grow as we evolve, as we step more fully into our personal power, we must have a firm foundation, rooted in spiritual principles.
Humility – Remember that the depth is not separate from the surface. Each being in creation is but an individual expression of the Divine. No one is more important, special… than another. Each is necessary, needed and uniquely gifted and guided. The wisdom of your Namaste is often lost; the truth is, I am another you. The rose asks us to stand in a place of allowing the Divine to flow through us anew in each moment. Surrendering who we thought we were and opening to who we are in each moment. Just as the rose bush surrenders her wilted petals to allow for the next expression of beauty.
Self Care – The rose always grows toward the sun. It’s first imperative is to gather energy, nutrition, essence from the Light. She shares that having a spiritual practice is an essential part of self-care, both for our selves, but also for the whole. She encourages us to build our foundation on our personal spiritual practice, our own way of reaching toward the Light. She reminds us that with out the light of the sun she could not accomplish her mission here on Earth, as it is true for all beings on Earth.
Cooperation – the rose does not compete against itself, each individual rose gives wholeheartedly to being the best, most beautiful rose it can be. It does so beside the other roses, knowing there is always enough; sharing an intention to fully support each other as One whole; knowing that together they are an even more beautiful expression of Love.
As above, So below; As Without, So Within - Each Plant has a root system equal to the plant above. The manifest expression of the rose, or you and I, is in direct proportion to the unseen work that is the foundation. She reminds us that our personal inner work is the root system from which we can step into our highest expression.
Connection to the Sacred Rhythms of Life – She encourages us to be more aware of the sacred rhythms of nature; as the seasons change, self-care becomes different. The rose goes dormant in the winter, gathering all its strength in its core, it’s root until it is ready to burst forth again. As within the Plant Kingdom each plants cycle is different, as are with Humans.
