In the Season of Light and Hope

Although gratitude is a daily practice, Thanksgiving gives us the opportunity to focus our intention along with a multitude of people also expressing their gratitude and thus creating a massive energy wave of upliftment  and beneficence for all. The immense power of focused, purposeful intention returns to us in a multitude of blessings-  a shower of love from the universe - and more things to be grateful for! Gratitude gently nudges us into acknowledging all the good in our life, regardless of a challenges we may be facing and allows our heart to open to the possibilities inherent in Christmas.

Now we enter  a season of boundless beauty and hope; a time of rejoicing in the return of the Light of the Christ.

This is a time of transformation, when we can take account of our life and examine what requires releasing and what will be polished and refined in the sacred fire of the heart. We have an opportunity every year to rebirth our Christ Heart at this time. A chance  to clear and renew the Sacred Heart in us all that is the legacy and inheritance of all humans. For here is  the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus spoke of when he said  "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you"! In the cave of your heart is the seed of your true essence. The Oneness of Love dwells in our Sacred Heart and compassionate wisdom comes forth from this unified space. Here peace finds its domain and illuminates our life when we honor the Light within.

The birth of the Christ Child is representative of the purity and innocence that dwells in us all. It is a reminder of the unquestionable knowing of children who instinctively understand that we are not separate from but in oneness with all creation.

Christmas stories abound with themes of goodness and brotherly love, with generosity of heart and kindness, with our true innocence and pure joy. These are teachings of the qualities that are a reflection of the true essence of the heart. They are a reminder that we have choice and opportunity to live from a higher perspective, a deeper understanding, and a greater commitment to the unfolding of life.
When we surrender to the heart all at has caused us pain, sadness, anger, grief, unworthiness, and loss, we are free and unencumbered to step into and live from a space of love so vast that there are no limits, no borders, no beginning or end. Many experience this space for brief periods of time whether in prayer, meditation or a spiritual event or crisis that allows one a taste of such unimagined bliss. We can live permanently from this space and expand our light into all corners of the universe! It  need not be an occasional event.

This season may you step into the universal current of Divine Love, and may the innocence of the Christ Child blossom in you throughout this coming year.
